Dreamwork and Dream Tending
Water medicine for the soul. Messages from the deep.
"I don't sleep, I dream." — R.E.M.
As someone with a Scorpio Moon, Chiron in Cancer in the 12th house, and Neptune conjunct my Sun, I live in the dream realm. Some of my most profound healing has happened there. But so have some of my most terrifying experiences. I know this territory from the inside.
I work with dreams as medicine. As trauma processing. As messages from ancestors and spirit. As multidimensional communications that can hold the personal, the ancestral, the archetypal, and the spiritual all at once. A single dream might be your psyche trying to reprocess something unresolved, your body sending a somatic signal, an ancestor reaching through, a karmic pattern surfacing, or guidance from your own deeper knowing. Often it's more than one of these.
That's why we might spend an entire session on one dream.
How I work with Dreams
I use a Jungian lens blended with somatic awareness, astrological timing, ancestral awareness, and spiritual discernment.
Dreams arrive in fragments, symbols, figures, feelings, and sensations. We follow what's alive in the dream, what keeps returning, what your body holds from it, whether it feels like it belongs to you personally or carries something older. Recurring figures and symbols get attention. So do the nightmares that won't release, and the big dreams that feel like they came from somewhere beyond ordinary sleep.
Jungian amplification brings in myth, fairy tale, and collective imagery, connecting your personal dream to larger patterns. Active imagination and dream re-entry let you dialogue with dream figures or step back into the dream while awake. Dream incubation creates intentional space before sleep: setting intentions, asking for guidance, building ritual around what comes through.
Astrologically, we track how dreams shift during moon cycles, eclipses, Saturn returns, Pluto transits, and 12th house activations. The 12th house is Neptune's realm, the meeting place of dreams and spirit. If you have planets there or are moving through a 12th house transit, your dreamtime tends to be especially active. Many people wake up exhausted during these periods. The psyche is doing significant work while the body sleeps.
