What I Specialize In
I'm a licensed therapist in California working with Dagara medicine and ancestral healing, clearing generational trauma, healing mother and father wounds, and breaking cycles of inherited suffering. We're at a time on this planet where many people have incarnated specifically to do lineage work. The Pluto in Scorpio generation carries this particularly strongly, but it's not limited to one generation. If you're reading this, chances are you're one of them. You didn't come here by accident. You came here because someone in your line needed to stop the bleeding.I work with people who are the black sheep, the sensitive one, the "too much" one in their family. People who feel like they're carrying grief, rage, or shame that predates them. People healing mother wound or father wound, who have gone low or no contact but still carry the weight, who are mothers refusing to pass wounds forward, who understand they're here to do ancestral repair. My practice is called Fourth House Therapy because the fourth house is the taproot: where we hold ancestors, childhood, and emotional inheritance. You cannot reach the 10th house (legacy, public work) if your taproot is diseased.
The Black Sheep Is the Family Diviner
In Dagara culture and many indigenous traditions, every family has a diviner, a medicine person, someone who interfaces with the spirit world. This is normal. Expected. Honored. In the West, we pathologize this. The family diviner becomes the black sheep. The one who feels too much. The anxious one. The depressed one. The one who can't function in the family system because they're absorbing everyone else's unmetabolized trauma.Your sensitivity isn't a disorder. It's your medicine. You're the one who feels what hasn't been processed. The grief your grandmother couldn't grieve. The rage your father couldn't express. The shame that's been passed down for generations. And because you feel it, you're the one who can alchemize it.
What Is Ancestral Healing?
Ancestral healing acknowledges, grieves, and clears what you inherited: trauma, silence, shame, survival strategies that were never yours to carry. It works on three levels.Psychologically, we look at how your parents' wounds became yours, how survival strategies got passed down as love.Energetically, we clear absorbed emotions and ancestral patterns stored in your body and field.Spiritually, we work directly with ancestral spirits, calling in the ancestors who walk in the name of healing and love to repair what's broken. This isn't metaphor. This is real work with real beings. When lineage repair begins, energy starts to move. What's been stuck in your body, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, shutdown, begins to alchemize. You're not just healing yourself. You're clearing the line.
The Fourth House: Your Taproot
The fourth house represents your foundation, your emotional inheritance, the family you came from, the ancestors you carry. If your taproot is diseased, carrying unmetabolized grief, rage, shame, trauma, you cannot rise into full expression, build legacy, or thrive. You have to tend the root before you can grow the branches.
You Are the Cycle Breaker
You're the one who said: no more. The first to go to therapy, name the abuse, break the silence, choose differently for your children, leave the family system. This is lonely work. You face resistance, grief for the family you'll never have, guilt for "betraying" the lineage, isolation. But you're not betraying anyone. You're refusing to pass the wound forward. My mentor, Dr. Maria (Mia) Hetényi, calls this being a "holy outsider," the one who stands outside the family system to heal the lineage.
The Mother Wound
The mother wound is pain passed from mother to child across generations. It shows up as feeling unseen by your mother, chronic criticism or emotional neglect, enmeshment where you were her therapist or caretaker, carrying her unprocessed grief, rage, shame, repeating patterns you swore you'd never repeat. The mother wound isn't always about your actual mother. Sometimes it's about the mother she never got to be, the mother her mother never was, the mothering you needed but never received. You can love your mother and grieve what she couldn't give you. Both are true.
The Father Wound
The father wound is pain passed from father to child across generations. It shows up as an absent, emotionally unavailable, or abusive father, never feeling good enough, chronic shame or unworthiness, carrying his rage, silence, or addiction. You can hold him accountable and grieve what broke him.
How I Work
This work is relational and spiritual at its core. We work with parts work to meet the inner child and the protector parts, grief tending to create sacred space for what was lost, dreamwork to listen to what's still unresolved in the lineage, and astrology to map the 4th house taproot, the mother and father lines, Saturn, the Moon, the IC, and the ancestral signatures written into your chart. The Dagara ancestral healing practices I carry from my training with Dr. Hetényi, including divination, ritual, and direct spirit work, are woven throughout. If you're called to go deeper into that work specifically, that lives on the Dagara Divination page. When lineage repair begins, energy starts to alchemize. What's been stuck begins to move. You're not just processing your own experience. You're clearing the line.
What Healing Looks Like
This work is not about forgiving before you're ready, pretending harm didn't happen, or "getting over it."It's about seeing clearly what was done, grieving what you didn't get, releasing what isn't yours, calling in ancestors who walk in love, breaking cycles with compassion, and healing so your children don't carry this weight.

FAQs
-
Forgiveness isn't a prerequisite. For some people it emerges naturally through ritual and grief tending. For others it doesn't, and that's okay too. This work honors wherever you are.
-
Emotional neglect, absence, not being seen are real wounds. This is especially true for neurodivergent people and black sheep who were dismissed as too sensitive or too much. You don't need proof that your pain is valid.
-
Yes. Healing doesn't require cutting contact, but it does require refusing to make yourself small.
-
Many neurodivergent traits are ancestral adaptations: hypervigilance, sensitivity, pattern recognition. Ancestral healing helps you distinguish between what's your authentic neurodivergent wiring and what's inherited trauma response. We honor both your neurotype and your lineage.

I work with Dagara medicine, divination, ritual, and direct communication with spirits for lineage repair. This isn't just talk therapy. When you do this work, energy moves. What's been stuck begins to alchemize. You can learn more about that work specifically on the Dagara Divination page.
