Therapy for Complex Trauma (C-PTSD), CSA, and Inner Child Healing
WHAT IS COMPLEX TRAUMA, CSA, AND INNER CHILD THERAPY?
This work creates a space to tend to the younger parts of you—especially the ones who had to adapt, disconnect, or disappear in order to survive.
Complex trauma (C-PTSD) often begins in childhood, shaped by emotional neglect, developmental trauma, family dysfunction, or repeated boundary ruptures. For many, this includes surviving childhood sexual abuse (CSA)—a trauma that often goes unseen, unspoken, or unprocessed.
This therapy invites you into a space of safety and care, where your inner child can begin to be witnessed and gently supported. Whether you’ve spent years unpacking your trauma or are just starting to explore its impact, this work is centered on honoring your pace, your body, and your lived experience.
Therapy that gently supports long-term healing from childhood trauma, relational wounds, and the impact of early violations to safety and trust.

HOW DOES THERAPY FOR C-PTSD, INNER CHILD HEALING, AND CSA WORK?
Complex trauma doesn’t heal through force—it heals through consistent care, relational safety, and deep nervous system support. Our work together is slow, respectful, and rooted in attunement. You will never be rushed or expected to disclose anything you’re not ready to share.
We might explore parts of you that developed to survive: the caretaker, the pleaser, the one who goes numb or disappears. Through inner child work, parts work, somatic support, and trauma-informed spiritual tools, we create space for those younger parts to receive what they never had: protection, validation, and consistent care.
For CSA survivors, therapy supports the healing of shame, fragmentation, and grief. Whether your trauma was overt or subtle, remembered or felt in the body, it is valid. And you don’t have to carry it alone anymore.
This is a space to begin restoring connection—with yourself, your body, and the truth that you were never meant to go through this without support.

Hi, I’m Stephanie Brumfield
Licensed Therapist in California, Holistic Therapy & Spiritual Support
Hi, I’m Stephanie Brumfield, a holistic spiritual therapist, certified astrologer, and eternal seeker. Deeply attuned to the subtle and sensitive aspects of life, I specialize in creating a compassionate space for individuals who feel misunderstood or out of place due to their neurodivergence, beliefs, or values. My work focuses on helping clients navigate familial disconnect, societal expectations, and spiritual awakenings, guiding them on a journey from black sheep to holy outsider.
As someone who is neurodivergent (AuDHDer), I value soulful, meaningful connections and draw inspiration from the wisdom of nature, especially trees. With a deep passion for ancestral work, mythology, astrology, trauma healing, and dreams, I integrate these elements into a practice that honors the cyclical nature of death, rebirth, and transformation - a reflection of my Scorpio Moon. Whether I’m researching, reading, or listening to 90s grunge, my approach to healing is grounded in energy medicine, spirituality, and the belief that personal healing can ripple outward to transform the collective.

Complex trauma usually involves long-term or repeated experiences that shape how you relate to yourself, others, and the world. It often starts in childhood or relational environments where you didn’t feel safe, seen, or protected.
-
Yes. I work with many clients who are CSA survivors. This therapy is trauma-informed, consent-based, and led by your readiness. Together, we gently support the healing of shame, grief, and fragmentation that CSA can leave behind.
-
That’s a common and natural response. Our work is about building that connection slowly and safely. You don’t need to “feel” ready—you just need to be curious enough to begin.
