Astrology in Therapy
I use astrology as a depth psychological language, a way of naming what talk therapy sometimes can't reach: the symbolic, the archetypal, the inherited, the numinous.
When we bring your chart into the room, we aren't doing a reading. We're using it as a mythic map, one that shows us where you've been, what's hurt, what keeps repeating, and what's ready to evolve. I believe true healing often begins beneath the surface. Together, we pay attention to dreams, symbols, and archetypes that reflect the deeper patterns shaping your life. Astrology serves as one of those maps, bridging the mystical with the practical to create grounded, meaningful change.

Soul Attunement: How I Work with Astrology
I developed Soul Attunement Practices as a framework for bringing archetypal, karmic, and evolutionary astrology into therapeutic and spiritual work. The birth chart and current astrological cycles are used as reflective mirrors, not literal predictors, illuminating inner dynamics, developmental tasks, and cycles of growth. Rather than fortune-telling or behavioral directives, Soul Attunement invites you into a contemplative experience of recognizing how your inner landscape resonates with the symbolic language of the cosmos.We explore natal placements and transits, planetary archetypes, goddess asteroids, Chiron, lunar patterns, degrees of completion, timing cycles like profections and progressions, and the mythic narratives that correspond with your lived experience. I work with the stars and planets as living archetypes and guides, from an embodied, therapeutic, and shamanic lens. This process is highly individualized, as each chart expresses a distinct configuration of inner parts, archetypes, and cyclical timing.
How Astrology Shows Up in Therapy
Because my practice is eclectic and intuitive, astrology appears differently depending on what's alive for you. Sometimes it's the primary lens. Sometimes it's a single placement that illuminates something we couldn't quite name.We might map emotional pain or trauma to chart placements: Chiron, Saturn, Pluto, the South Node. We might work with current transits or progressions to understand timing, pressure, or transformation. We might bring in planetary archetypes as parts of you: your Moon as your emotional inner child, Saturn as your inner critic or protector, Chiron as your wounded healer.We also work with goddess asteroids and archetypal feminine energies: Lilith, Hekate, Medusa, the Dark Mother, the silenced feminine, the ancestral mothering patterns carried through generations. These aren't abstract symbols. They're inner energies, protective instincts, ancestral imprints, and developmental themes that shape your inner and outer world.Astrology weaves naturally with parts work, ancestral healing, grief tending, and dreamwork. The 4th house and IC hold the mother line, the family inheritance, the taproot. Pluto transits activate what's been buried. Saturn returns mark threshold crossings. The nodal axis maps the karmic arc of your soul's work in this lifetime.When it helps bring something invisible into form, we use it. When it doesn't, we don't.
My Astrological Lens
I am primarily self-taught and work in ongoing relationship with the star spirits, the Geja. I have studied with many teachers over many years. Some of my favorites include Vika Bradford (past life and karmic astrology), Jessica DiRuzza, Divine Harmony, and Anne Ortelee.I am not a purist. I am open to discovering what astrology means for you in therapy.
Witnessing, Bridge, Reclamation
My framework for bringing astrology into healing work moves through three moments.First, witnessing the pain: honoring your lived experience and validating it through the chart, seeing it reflected back in language that holds both the wound and the meaning.Then, finding the bridge: the placement or transit that creates movement from pain toward transformation, the energetic thread that connects where you've been to where you're going.Finally, reclamation: not fixing the myth but retelling it, connecting to your purpose, your power, your cosmic identity. You are not a problem your chart reveals. You are a soul your chart reflects.
A Note on This Work
Planetary symbols and archetypes are reflective tools. Different people assign different meaning to the same symbols, and you remain the authority over what holds relevance in your life. There is a real risk in over-identifying with astrological themes or outsourcing your sense of self to a planetary narrative, and I hold that carefully.The insights, astrological observations, or intuitive reflections I offer are optional mirrors for exploration, not definitive answers or predictions. You are always free to accept, reject, or reinterpret them according to your own inner wisdom and belief system.Some archetypal and karmic themes can be activating, especially for those with trauma histories, spiritual wounding, or existential distress. We move at your pace. Astrology in therapy is a contemplative framework for insight and integration, not a substitute for clinical care.
